downtown dallas

Just a quick note....Yesterday I felt like I was in Portland. Roman and Jennifer would be so proud, I think. As most may know, I moved into a loft in downtown Dallas this past weekend. Thank you Momma, Daddy and Stacy for helping me move and thanks to all the homeless people that generously offered to help me move my stuff. Back to the feeling like Portland, well....Yesterday I woke up and walked to work, granted it's just across the street but better yet after work I walked to the grocery store that's about 4 blocks away. There is also the Dart, which is 3 blocks away, it will take me to Mockingbird station for shops, movies and restaurants.

This all just brought back memories of when I spent a few weeks with Rom and Jen in Portland. I love my new place and I'm going to really love living downtown. After I get things completely unpacked over the weekend, I'll post some pictures, so, check back on Sunday!
